ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Stone Middle School Band Program has built a reputation for excellence, consistently earning high ratings at district festivals. Beyond ensemble performances, students participate annually in the Solo and Ensemble Festival and All-District Band.

Stone Middle School is supported by it's five feeder elementary schools: Virginia Run, Deer Park, Bull Run, Cub Run, and London Towne. Upon completing middle school, an impressive 80% of eighth graders continue their musical journey in the Westfield High School Band, a distinguished Virginia Honor Band.

In addition to concert ensembles, the Jazz Band at Stone Middle School has performed accross the wider Chantilly and Centreville communities, including performances at the Vanguard Arts Center and at the Chantilly Jazz Festival.
