CLASS RULES
 
   
 
  • BE POLITE.
  • Do not chew gum or bring food/drink into any section of the band facility.
  • Only play YOUR instrument.
  • Come to class with a clean and well-maintained instrument, instrument accessories, pencil, music, planner, and any other required materials.
  • Attend and be punctual to all rehearsals.  Any student who is absent, tardy, or who leaves early must present a note from the appropriate source.
  • Be seated and warming up on the assigned music at the beginning of each rehearsal.
  • Store your instrument, during the school day, in the appropriate storage area within the band room.
    •
  • Label your instrument with your name and phone number.
   
 

DISCIPLINE PLAN
   
       All music students are expected to adhere to Stone’s rules and FCPS rules and regulations. Any student who deprives another student of the right to learn will be disciplined appropriately. Consequences may include any/all of the following:
   
 
  • Verbal/Visual Cue
  • Seat Change
  • Call to parent/guardian
  • Letter to parent/guardian
  • Detention
  • Loss of concert or trip privileges
  • Referral to administrator
