Winter Concert Success

The Winter Concert was a success! Here are some of the comments received from band parents:

I have to say, Mr. Z, I think you're wonderful. Having 5 children from age 8 to 18, all who play instruments in school/college, the concerts at Stone are the ones I most look forward to. They are organized, short and to the point, but most of all; the music I hear coming from my children who play in the band and have played in the orchestra just continues to amaze me. I'm a strong advocate for keeping music programs in school, and I am so thankful for instructors such as you. It's a tough age -- these 7th and 8th graders -- and you've given them something that they - and their parents - will forever appreciate.

Many thanks for the beautiful concert. We are grateful for your teaching and help. My son has learned so much already.

I still can't believe what a difference between the Elementary School Band and the Stone MS Band, and as you said in only 2 months. You have done quite a job, I am impressed.

Thank you the concert was wonderful! Well done "Stone MS Band" We are looking forward to the next concert.

Yes it WAS an awesome concert! Thanks for all your efforts with the students! We're always amazed at what they can produce given the right instruction! I can't wait to put my sticker on my car! :-)

Great job, Mr. Z

Thank you too, Mr. Z! The band was phenomenal last night and even though we KNOW that will be the case from prior concert experiences, it still amazes us how well you are able to pull this very large group together and provide such a remarkable product. Thanks so much for all you do!

LOVED the concert Mr. Z. All the kids were beaming after the concert - thank you for all the hard work you put into the concert! They all looked so sharp!

I was very impressed with the band. They will earn a very high score during festival if they continue on this pace . . . congrats on being given a talented bunch of kids.

We really enjoyed the concert and are amazed how much the students have learned over the last 2 months. Please send a decal home with our son. We know that he will enjoy it as a sign of our support when we display it on our car. Again, thanks so much for the great evening.

Thanks for a great concert. Thought the kids sounded really great!

Wonderful concert tonight!

Thank you, the concert was great!

We really enjoyed tonight's concert! Great job all around!

I was thoroughly impressed with the talent at Stone Middle School. What a great group of kids and leader!

We are the thankful ones! You have re ignited my son's enthusiasm for clarinet and have motivated him to rededicate himself with practice and a willingness to try new music.

Great concert last night! You did a wonderful job!

As always - great concert! I really appreciate you giving our daughter the opportunity to introduce the songs in her new role. She really enjoyed it. Keep up the good work! Let us know if you ever need assistance.

The concert was excellent. I really enjoyed it!
